Yeah so I'm looking for a new car and am, of course, trying to figure out the best way to get the best deal. In my search I cam across this site that gives you printable coupons for cars! What?! I had no idea such a thing existed, but I wanted to share it with you all. You just put the kind of car you want, features, etc., and then you get a coupon to print at the end. I just got one for $895...seems like high value to me...lol. We'll see how it works, but if you want to check it out you can find them at the link below.

I just go in with what I want to pay, and don't budge. We got a 6% interest rate (where other lots were offering 19-20%) because I wouldn't budge. I paid what they wanted for the car, but they have wiggle room with the interest rate. So they played with the interest rate until it got down to what I wanted. In the end, I got an awesome deal on a new car, and they were mad

Last Saturday, we traded in my Cadillac Escalade for the 2014 Chevy Volt. My Escalade was only getting 13 MPG. It was getting very expensive as we live in Southern CA and my husband commutes to Santa Monica. We are more than THRIILED with our purchase!!! Volt is gas/electric. We received too many options to mention: 150,000 mile warranty/10 year, FREE oil changes for life, FREE ding (scratch) replacement for life, 3 year FREE on-star, Pandora, etc...The selling feature was that the car came with 5 FREE YEARS WITH A GREEN COMMUNITING STICKER!!! FREE HOV & carpool lanes!!! Car gets over 100 miles to gallon with electric/gas. Without battery we get 47 miles to the gallon. Car is very HI-TECH! No key, it's all speaker/talk friendly! Open with my   iPhone, etc. It was SO worth the trade in!!! No we did not have a coupon but all the EXTRAS that we received were WELL worth it. Yesterday, our gas went up to $4.09 a gallon. Perfect timing for us!!! $40,000 with taxes, etc.

Forget the coupons, it's a gimmick. As a licensed autobroker since 2001 and recent couponer (only 3 years)...I've found it's all in the buy & right time of year. Did you know that prices on vehicles typically pop $750-1,000 in the Spring due to tax season? Everyone has that cash just burning in their pocket & can't wait to buy a vehicle. It drives up the market. If you're smart? You'll wait! Don't trade in that vehicle, sell it yourself! Research what you need. I swear, most folks spend more time picking out a video to watch on Friday night than they do a vehicle. It can be intimidating, but if you coupon- you've got the skills to purchase a vehicle :) Best time to buy a mini-van? Dead of winter. Best time to buy a 4x4? Summer! Forget the gimmicky coupons, it's just to get you in the door. Put a little thought into your buying experience & you'll save :) Just my .02

Rob it would be nice if you said where the link will lead us. If a person does their research, and learns how to negotiate a bit and/or when to walk out of the dealership, they'll do just fine. I'm going to side with angie on this one......it's a gimmick for sure. With your skill when it comes to saving money, I'm sure you'll save more than $895!!
