So the more I look at this Plenti business, the more I think it will be good for us. All I have so far is theories, but I'd like to know what everyone else thinks.
I did some deals yesterday, it looks pretty promising! Only one drawback, my location! LOL The closest Macy's, Exxon or Mobile is more than 35 miles away! But I plan to use my points mostly at RA anyway :)
I'm thinking this applies to $/$$ purchases. So you'll need to take Gold, and RAQ off before you reach your $/$$ total! More "Bang for your buck"!
"Points are based on net purchases of eligible items and are calculated before sales tax and after all excluded items, store discounts, coupons or other credits have been subtracted from the purchase. "
Hello everyone....I agree with Rob. I was able to do the conair spend 30 get 1500 points and with the new 10.00 riteaid beauty coupons, my oop was 12.54 and I got 1500 points and I can roll them to do the deal one more time. The good thing about the points not expiring for two years gives us a little more leverage when weeks are slow.
I love the fact that they pay tax. I get taxed pre coupon and the rate is almost 9%. That's a great perk for me.
Huge perk for me too Jani! I also like the fact that if you buy with plenti points and return an item, the points are credited back to your card. No cash out of register...which is going to cut back on the fraud/abuse (I hope). Would like to see Rite Aid succeed.
I like the plenti program thus far just transfered a perscription to rite aid to get my $25.00 and my insurance (not medicare or medicaid) paid for the whole perscription and yep! didn't give me my points so the only option on the plenti site thus far is to send an e-mail and they will reply within 3-5 days.... i need to do a little more research into a 1800 number i guess
There are pros and cons to both points and up rewards. With up rewards you could roll them on different cards which in a sense you could probably do more identical deals, but you had to pay tax...with points they can only be used on the cards they were earned on but no tax is a big deal and the fact that you have 2 years to use them. All in all I am pleased with the new program just pretty upset about the video values going away.
Has anyone yet tried to link 2 or more of their plenti cards? You can link cards and use the points on any card. Could work out great to roll deals but I haven't done it yet.
I'm not so sure. Can't seem to find the equivalent of points in dollars. My sister thinks each point is only worth one cent.
Sandi, your sister is correct.
