Extreme Couponing....FREE ITEM COUPONS...what do you guys think?

Ive been watching Extreme Couponing and I see alot of free item coupons on there. Now, I know some of them are fake from that coupon ring in AZ. However, I'm told that some of them are real. How do you get free item coupons in mass like that?

The other thing I saw on there were blinkie coupons that say 'Coupons not subject to doubling' at the top of the coupon and the grocery stores still doubling the coupon. I believe the stores that were on there that I saw were: Piggly Wiggly, Key Food, St. Helen's Market, Kroger....can you really extreme coupon at those stores?

What are your thoughts?

Honestly ... the show is ridiculous.  There was "Jail Me Jamie Kirlew" (not the name I gave her ... just google it) ... She had massive fraudulent coupons at Target ... but to each his own.

The other stores ... these folks maybe get 5-10 different items, BUT get like 100 of each to bulk up their total.

#1 - So Cal has NO ONE that doubles their coupons anymore (we must all live in Beverly Hills)

#2 - "Ain't Nobody Got Time For That!" - I just do what I can ... some weeks I can only hit up one store, others I can get it all done and I'll be productive, but reality - I'm not spending 40 hrs a week to coupon, I don't keep spreadsheets and the most I've saved on any 1 receipt was like $200+ BUT I spent $40 OOP.

#3 - Getting free coupon in mass ... they either write to the manufacturers, order them from clipping services, or write to manufacturers posing as Dr. offices, dentist offices etc etc etc.  Those would just be my guesses.

#4 - I'm glad that they enjoy it so much, props to them, but I'd burn out at that rate ;)

I dont even try what they do because it so much work and my stores will not let me do that many. the stores here have way too many limits. I still get creative though. I cant make $2,000 in walgreen credit simply cuz they dont have more than 10 in each store but I do manage to get $500 which is good and cvs $120 ecb plus $1000 cash from publix all in 8 hours. I know one guy who is just over the top good and he is very private plus no limits where he lives and he have so much free time because he gets so much money. what we do is chump change compare to him. I can't reveal who he is though, I respect his privacy. If I could be as good as him, I would retire by now.

Some of it might be luck or some good companies. I posted 1 time on Mullers facebook page about how I would love to try their product but everytime I bought it, my teenage son ate it all so fast I never got any. They asked me for my address and sent me 20 free muller yougurt coupons and 20 $1/2 coupons. I was in heaven for about a week and by then my son had finished most of it. I got to try it that time though.

The show is FAKE! What store does any of us know that would allow you to check out for hours? None I know of. lol The boy who won the Allstar show his mother had to pay the store back a bunch of money for fake coupons he used for paper towels.

Yea I heard about that kid's mom who had to pay back for the paper towels...Im just wondering how the stores deny people from doing that type of couponing in their stores. Someone probably could sue for false advertising.

Jr. i dislike that show so much and they only do it and bend the rules, just for advertisement purpose. "Jail Me Jamie Kirlew" ruined it for us who coupons honestly. It seems shortly after she was on the show and used the wrong coupons, I think that's when PG change the limits on their coupons and so did other manufacturer did too.
